Dr. B. Ramachary represents the fourth generation of an artistic family whose practice blends traditional craftsmanship with modern research.

A highly distinguished scholar, he holds a wide spectrum of academic qualifications — MA, Ph.D., LL.B., DIM, DFD, DIJ, DGS, NTC, and a Diploma in Archaeology. These stand as a testament to his profound expertise in both traditional knowledge and contemporary scientific thought. His Ph.D. thesis, “Sociological Factors in Industrial Entrepreneurship: An Holistic Study of Entrepreneurs in Gems and Jewellery Industries of Karnataka” from Mysore University, further highlights his dedication to understanding the intricate connections between society and industry.

Beyond academia and appraisal, Dr. Ramachary has written numerous books and research papers covering art history, antiques, socio-economic studies, and cultural heritage preservation. His works continue to inspire both scholars and collectors worldwide.
